Rebuild Indexes

Indexes are associated with records in a database and are used to quickly find data when entering transactions and running reports and inquiries. On very rare occasions, usually due to a network problem, an index may become corrupted, and must be re-built.

WARNING: Before you rebuild indexes, it is advised that you call Net•Yield Support for advice.

To run the rebuild indexes utility, all users must be logged out of Net•Yield, see Concurrent Users for more information on how to determine is all uses are logged out of Net•Yield and how to clear users from Net•Yield.

This tool allows you to rebuild the indexes of the system database.

1. A message appears, “Rebuild indexes? No/Yes."
